During the past few weeks Meanie came back for break, we ate out most of the time, but didn't venture out to much of the places we wanted to try for various reasons: laziness, weather, etc. We did, however, get to eat at the following places:
- Outback Steakhouse: ventured out in the winter storm because Meanie craved meat after being deprived for 3 months
- Santoka Ramen in Mitsuwa x2: who can resist the shio ramen?
- Boom Boom Chicken x2: the 2nd time was to make up for the 1st, because it tasted wrong after refrying
- Picnic Garden x2: Dinner was definitely better than lunch
- Kim's Sushi: fresh oysters, clams, and sushi
- Applebee's x2: half-price appetizers FTW!
- Cheesecake Factory: the DaVinci pasta and original cheesecake were awesome!
- Pimaan: Thai food in north jersey? Yes please! Their chocolate souffle + ice cream and sweet sticky rice were the icing on the cake
- Shanghai Tan: all-you-can-eat hotpot
- Red Lobster: wish the service was better...the biscuits came out after we finished our entrees
- Pho Anh Dao: got our pho fix...almost thought they were permanently closed
- Villa Madrid: literally right down the road from our house...lunch portions were huge
- also got to make dinner twice at home: prime rib, spiral sliced ham, brussel sprouts, roasted yukon potatoes, cilantro salad, chicken + mushrooms in sherry cream sauce
Unfortunately we didn't take many pictures at all of the food or of ourselves...it's all right, there'll always be other opportunities to put the dSLR camera to good use.
